I am currently a PhD student at NYU in my fourth year. I am a member of the Human and Machine Intelligence Lab at Princeton and the Computation and Cognition Lab at NYU, co-advised by Brenden Lake and Todd Gureckis.

I am broadly interested in computational cognitive science: developing computational hypotheses as testable explanations of the underlying mechanisms that support intelligence in people and machines. More specifically, my research aims to leverage neurosymbolic models to design systems that exhibit more human-like intelligence.

Previously, I completed my undergrad at McGill University in Cognitive Science and Computer Science. There I worked on category-learning difficulty and its relation to categorical perception using neural network simulations under the supervision of Stevan Harnad.

I like music, bouldering, reading, writing about stuff I find interesting and enjoying great food!
